This policy explains what data Lumi Gungi ("the app", "we") handles, why, and what you can do about it. The app is run by [Owner name], the data controller. Contact: [contact email].
Playing as a guest: nothing leaves your device except online games. Your settings, player name, avatar, game history and statistics are stored on your device (local storage). Clearing the app data deletes them.
With an account: if you sign in (with email or Google, through our platform provider Base44) we receive your email address, your name and a user ID. We also store, linked to your account, your player profile (name, avatar, game history and statistics), the number of games played and whether you bought "Remove ads", so you get them on any device.
Online games: your player name, your avatar (an in-game emblem or a small photo you choose to upload), your moves and orders, quick reactions, timings and results are stored in the game room on our servers, because the server referees every game.
Ranked games: your rating, uncertainty, number of ranked games, season, best score and the IDs of your recent opponents (only to reduce rating changes in repeated games).
Purchases: payments are processed by Wix Payments through Base44. We never see your card details; we keep a purchase record (ID, status, amount, email) to unlock and restore it.
Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to limit abusive request rates. If the app hits an error we may record the error message, app version and browser/device type to fix it, and a few anonymous usage events (for example "tutorial completed" or how long matchmaking took). We do not use advertising identifiers or third-party ad networks.
Notifications: "opponent found" or "your turn" alerts are generated by the app on your device; we do not collect push tokens.
To provide the game you ask for: accounts, online play, ratings, syncing and purchases (performance of a contract).
To keep games fair and the service secure: refereeing, rate limiting, preventing cheating (legitimate interest).
To fix errors and improve the game with aggregated, non-advertising data (legitimate interest).
To meet legal obligations, for example accounting records of purchases.
Other players see your player name, avatar, moves, reactions and, in ranked games, your league and rating. The season leaderboard shows the name, avatar and rating of placed, active players.
Service providers that process data for us: Base44 (hosting, database and sign-in), Wix (payments), Google (only if you sign in with Google) and Google Fonts (loads the app fonts, which reveals your IP address to Google).
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Account data is kept until you delete your account. You can do so at any time in Settings → Delete account; this deletes your account and the profile linked to it.
Game rooms are kept as long as needed for the game, rematches and resolving disputes, and are deleted periodically. Ratings are kept per season.
Purchase records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Data on your device stays until you clear the app data or uninstall it.
You can ask for access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, object to or restrict its processing, by writing to [contact email]. You can also delete your account yourself in Settings.
If you think we handle your data unlawfully you can complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. When they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
The game is suitable for all ages, but creating an account requires being old enough to consent to data processing in your country (between 13 and 16 in the EU) or having a parent's or guardian's consent. Guests can play without an account.
If we change this policy we will update the date below and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
